Timmmber!…an F3 Shirt

F3 Timber Shirt Design

Joe Hertel, aka "Toast," from Portland, Oregon asked me to design a shirt for his home AO (Area of Operation) Timber in Woodinville, Washington. "I ChatGPT'd a few designs" Toast said over Slack, "but they lack the LumberMack touch." Running with Joe's theme of lumberjacks and trees, I set up a "coupon" or cinder block with a gifted, hand-refurbished axe from Tim Schoch aka "Billboard," sketching the axe-block still life along with silhouettes of cedars adjacent to Swamp Creek planted by former tenants seventy years ago. The sketch came together well with a Wacom Cintiq trace in Photoshop and Illustrator live-trace "microwaving" logo from raster to vector in black and white layers ready for online store and screen-printing with F3 MudGear in North Carolina. Final touch, a sneak-peak advertisement blasted to F3 Puget Sound Slack before shop goes live next week.
